Since February 2015, our weekly jam has given jazz musicians in Washington Heights and beyond a place to gather, play, and connect. We started at LeCheile restaurant and moved to Kismat Restaurant in May 2021, where we've been ever since. During the pandemic, we added outdoor sessions at Bennett Park, the highest natural point in Manhattan.

On February 10, 2026, we celebrate our 11th anniversary and our 609th jam. More than 800 musicians have played, and over 2,500 people have listened.

The jam is free with no cover and no minimum. There's never a long opening set. The music starts when you arrive!
