Happy Hour Jazz

In the summer of 2023 we were approached by James Lee, the owner of 181 Cabrini, who said that "for some reason, people are asking to put jazz in here." We had occasionally presented jazz there for special events, or "Random Acts of Jazz,” so we knew it would work.

Around the same time, Karah Rempe and Hugo Pinto had added an evening menu, extended their hours, and added a bar to their Dutch Baby Bakery, so adding live jazz was the obvious next step.

These weekly Happy Hour events quickly became a great hang, and have given us the opportunity to bring more live jazz to our neighborhood while helping support two valued community businesses.

We feature fine musicians from the neighborhood and greater NYC, and there is never any cover!
